Holbeach Hospital, Holbeach | Annex

The proposed development is an annex to the existing Community Hospital; a care home for the elderly and individuals with physical difficulties. The hospital currently accommodates up to 39 residents and on average there is a waiting list for 4 – 6 people. The vision is to alleviate the significant care shortfall with a new and fit for purpose annex by providing an additional eight en-suite bed spaces, appropriate ancillary facilities and services, creating a specialist unit to meet the needs of the aging local community.
The annex received planning permission in December 2016.
